Archery Enigma
What we know: Jacob and Peggy each shoot a hundred arrows at a target and they hit it 50 times each.
To settle the tie breaker, the give themselves a time limit and each shoot as much as they can to the target.
Jacob shoots 89 arrows and only hits the target 13 times.
Peggy shoots 50 arrows and misses each time. Jacob immediately announces he is the best shot since he shoots just 40 more than peggy and still manages to hit the target 13 times more but Peggy disagreed.
Enigma: Who had the better avergae for the day?
Solution: The both have the same average.
They hit the target one third of the time that they shot at it.
