Story: There was a lonely guy who did not have any friends to do anything with. He stayed at home all the time. Once, he decided to write all the numbers from 300 to 400 on a piece os paper.

Enigma: How many times did the sad fellow write the number 3?

Solution: 120 times.
100 times in the hundred place, 10 times in both the tens and ones place.
