Biorhythm in humans is a pseudoscience.
There is much talk about biorhythms. The notion is that human behavior is
controlled by three cycles, each of which is initiated at the moment of
birth:
- a physical cycle of 23 days.
- a sensitivity (emotional) cycle of 28 days.
- an intellectual cycle of 33 days.
The first half of the cycle is supposed to be the time when one is most positive in the attribute of that cycle. During the second half, one is supposed to be negative (in this period you should not employ activities).
The days on which there is a crossover from positive to negative, or the other way around, are called critical days. If these critical days of two (about 6 time/year) or three (once a year) cycles fall on the same day, you had better watch out!
Note: Biorhythm is not the same as the phenomenon called "biological clock"!
