Housed in the Armour Simulation Centre (ASC), the Armour Tactical Trainer (ATT) provides versatile in-house training for both active servicemen and NSmen. The ATT is able to cater for diverse types of battle scenes and conditions which is not possible with conventional training exercises. Random generation of target model, range of engagement, type of terrain and weather conditions allows the trainees to cultivate better survival instincts needed in the heat of a fire-fight. The system generates terrain features and weapon effects in addition to the duplicated crew compartment of the AFV for added realism.

The ATT has an Instructor/Operator Station whereby the trainers monitor and record the performance of each trainee. The evaluation system allows the instructors to appraise the trainees objectively.
