May 01 - Setup the c5+ in west facing window. Viewed and videotaped the sun through TypeII full aperture Solar Filter. The sun is pretty 'clean'. The two obvious groups are a) Bi-polar group with its own complete umbra b)another bi-polar group with 'bridge' between the two.
May 07. Well, Singapore famous weather had done it again. MISSed all opportunity to watch any ETA/SAG. Sky seems to improve a little early AM. By 1:00AM, SAG radiant point viewable just outside my window.
May 09. Gone downstair to gaze at the N-W sky. LM ~3.0 Ursa Major hang horizontally with tail leading to the yellowish Arcturus. The other conspicious star is Spica and the compact Corvus.
May 10. Hazy sky lately but improving. Watch/video taped -1 mag ISS and much dimmer NOSS 2-3(C)? passages in b/w monitor screen together with my 5 yrs old girl. Did not notice NOSS other 2 companions. Watched it increase in brightness and gave unexpected single flare following a brief moments later a double flares in quick succession ( tracked it manually on foto tripod with watec 902H/ 75mmf/1.4 lens). Another good pass is predicted for May 11. Will try tomorrow night.
