The Fly
(Mus)

Generalities: it is a small southern constellation, not far from the Southern Cross. It has a characteristic form and is crossed by the Milky Way. Its transit at midnight takes place in March.

Origins and mythology: it has been introduced in modern times, therefore its name comes only from its form.

Stars: the Fly  shows a star of average brightness, the alpha of magnitude 2.69, white-blue color, which is  about 330 light-years far. In this constellation  other four stars under magnitude 4 are present.
