The Telescope
(Tel)


Generalities: it is a small southern constellation, deprived of bright stars. Its transit at midnight takes place in July.

Origins and mythology: this constellation was introduced by Lacaille in the eighteenth century. It doesn't obviously have any bonds with mythological circumstances.

Stars: the Telescope has only a star under  magnitude 4. It is alpha, of magnitude 3.51, blue color and  650 light-years far.

Other objects: in the Telescope  objects of particular interest are not present.
