How to home-build a luggage rack for a 1986 CB700SC

I started looking for a luggage rack for my Nighthawk.
It turns out that even "used" racks can go for over $150.
I can't stand this so here is how to build one for as little
as possible. Under $20 is a good guess.
First I made a template of the main frame from luan plywood.
Next a trip to the local scrap yard and I had some nice pieces
of .300" thick aluminum. Aluminum can be cut and shaped with
standard woodworking tools at home. I cut the frames out with
my bandsaw and circular saw and smoothed with a file. At
this point it looked like this:

Then the "Z" pieces were rolled to conform to the curve of
hand rail. I drilled and mounted the brackets using the holes
from the hand rail. New metric bolts for this were the
hardest thing I had to find. Next I cut pieces to form the
bed of the rack. Then drill, tap, and countersink and it will
look like this:

After this I removed the rack. Primed with a good coat of
zinc chomate primer. Then a final coat of high temp engine
paint. I used the engine paint because I was told it was the
hardest paint in a spray can. I expect it to get scratched
up and look like it's been on the bike forever.
Here is the final product:
