Dinoman goes to Dinosaur National Monument


Well, I have finally visited the only federal park in the U.S. that is devoted to dinosaurs, Dinosaur National Monument. There is a lot to do there, and as a dinosaur fan, I recommend you take your children, your friends, or even go by yourself. The wall of dinosaur bone is an awe-inspiring thing on its own, but the displays, the landscape, and the surrounding areas are also really cool. Click on the pics for a larger scale.

. The neighboring town of Vernal, Utah is pretty much dinosaur themed, and not too far from the begining of Dinosaur National Monument is the town of Dinosaur, Colorado. The street names in the city of Dinosaur are the names of dinosaurs, and there are dinosaur slides, swing sets, and other cool stuff. Dinosaur National Monument is in both Colorado and Utah, but the visitor center where the bones can be seen is located in Utah. At the enterance to the visitor center is this Stegosaurus:
