Logistics

Personnel of this department are in charge, among other things of:

Management of more than 9500 different consumable and equipment spare modules.
Local purchases and service requests.
Generation of spare / repair requests to ESOC / GTS.
Reception, unpacking, storing or delivering new items or repaired units.
Shipments of all kind of goods, including postal services (parcels, letters...).
World-wide scientific data distribution (tapes, CD ROM's, reports...).
Inventory status control of all ESA / ESOC property items.

General facilities

Personnel of this department are in charge of the maintenance and fault correction of all the electrical installation, the different air conditioning systems, mechanical parts of the power plant and antennas, fire fighting equipment and of any kind of general support required in any building.
