AGUSTA A-109 K2

El A109 K2, con dos turbinas Turbomeca Arriel-1K1 de 771shp, ha dotado a los operadores con nuevas posibilidades para llevar a cabo operaciones de vuelo a altas altitudes o a altas temperaturas, mientras que también los habilita a estándares de seguridad para operaciones de emergencia con un solo motor. Las misiones que puede desarrollar incluyen 1000 Kg. de carga en el gancho, un gancho de rescate de 270 Kg., una luz de búsqueda y un panel de instrumentos compatible con la nueva tercera generación de lentes de visión nocturna (NVG). Este helicóptero ya está operando en áreas montañosas de USA, Europa y Japón y en climas cálidos de Latino América y el Golfo Pérsico.

The A109 K2, with its two Turbomeca Arriel-1K1 engines each generating 771 shp, has provided customers with entirely new possibilities for carrying out flight operations at high altitude or hot temperatures, while allowing unprecedented safety standards for one engine emergency operations. Special mission equipment includes a 1000 kg cargo hook, a 270 kg rescue hoist, a searchlight and an instrument panel compatible with the new third generation night-vision goggles (NVG) to perform night flying operations. Agusta A109 K2 are already operating in the mountainous areas of the United States, Europe, Japan and in the hot climates of Latin America and the Persian Gulf, providing invaluable service in medical emergencies as well as in more routine surveillance, patrol and transport missions
