1) Cruise missiles: (181 KB, 3.7 sec): This video definitely must be looped and viewed repeatedly to let the details sink in. The explosions you see are not the puny orange puffs we see in Hollywood but lethal high velocity high explosive with a blast shockwave that precedes the explosion. In the first of three clips a sea skimming missile hits a ship. Watch the water turn white with the shock wave. In the last of the three, the missile explodes in the air in an almighty blast, but the ground seems to catch fire as an unseen ground level target explodes. The action has been slowed down in the clips.

2) Laser bomb: (138 KB, 2.7 sec) In this clip a laser guided bomb homes in from the left upper corner to decimate a simulated target in an Airpower demonstration exercise held by the Indian Air Force in January 1999

3) Runway busters: (213 KB, 6.3 sec) Two Mirage 2000s of the Indian Air Force fly past from the right and retarded flare like submunitions float down - and suddenly the submunitions light up like little rockets and streak down toward a runway trailing parallel smoke streams to pierce deep holes in the tarmac before exploding and gouging out craters. The video was shot at an Indian Air Force air power demonstration.

4) Hellfire: (32 KB, 1.3 sec) In this extremely short demonstration video clip a Hellfire missile streaks down from above to destroy a tank.

5) Torpedo: (204 KB, 2 sec) Another very short video clip showing a periscope view of a ship being hit by a torpedo causing an enormous explosion.

6) Laser Guided bomb: (174 KB, 5 sec) In a live war video a precision guided bomb from an Indian Air Force aircraft converts a Pakistani Army camp perched on a mountain into history.

7) PGM hits camp (357 KB) In this enlargement of a PGM targeting pod video at least two men can be seen running for cover seconds before a bomb hits their camp. Watch the right side of the circle - a black arrow marker briefly points to a man running across a pale clearing with buildings to his left. A short while later another man is seen running, after which the bomb hits the camp.
