Marriott International, Inc -- Pathways to Independence, one of the first, most comprehensive, and most dedicated programs to provide job-skills training and social service assistance to welfare recipients looking for work. Marriot has had staff perform all types of social services for their job-skills training participants, including providing transportation, arranging for child care and assisting domestic violence victims move into shelters.

Ceridian Performance Partners -- Announces Partners in Progress program for thousands of empolyers which will provide screening and recruitment of welfare recipients, job skills training, a mentoring program for supervisors of former recipients, and a support hot-line for the new workers to get social worker assistance for problems such as child-care and relationship problems that could impede job success if unresolved.
