History: The first Swedish CWI-section was founded in 1974. "Offensiv" was a secretive, entryist group that infiltrated the Swedish social democracy, especially the SSU(Social Democratic Youth League of Sweden). In the 80's they were kicked out of SSU. When they tried, without major successes, to infiltrate KU/Ung Vänster. Later they left their entryist tactics, something that provoced a split. The minority, that wanted to continue entryism within the Social Democratic movement, founded Socialisten. The majority now organized themselves as Arbetarförbundet Offensiv(AFO, Workers' League Offensive), which was supposed to be the embryo of a "new workers' party". In 1995 they ran in the elections to the European Parliament as Rättviselistan (List for Justice), together with Socialistiska Partiet. In 1997, prior to the 1998 general elections, AFO was reformed to Rättvisepartiet Socialisterna.
