I've always been a sucker for 'candy-style' Pop music like Scritti Politti
and even Amy Grant, so when Donna Lewis came out with Always Forever,
I couldn't help myself. A sweet voice that's 'airy', music that's nothing but major
chords, and words that describe nothing but innocent love combine to make a song that I
couldn't help but include in this year's Collection. As for the whole album, much the
same, but nothing that's get any better than Always Forever. Like I said, I'm a
sucker for electronic beats, a bass that bobs along and harmony that's, well, candy-like.
What more can I say, it's a 'sweet' song, no sugar needed.
