THE WORLD IS OUR PICKET LINE!

SUPPORT THE LIVERPOOL DOCK WORKERS!

In 1995 Dock Workers in Liverpool, the last unionized port authority in England, were laid off.

The remaining workers went on strike to protest the layoffs.

Since then the Port Authority has used scabs provided by Drake International.

The Dock Workers launched an international solidarity campaigm using the World Wide Web.

Since last year dock workers, longshoremen and other unions operating at ports around the world have conducted sympathy strikes, occupations and hot cargo actions against shipping companies using the Merseyside Ports.

The main source of communication about this struggle has been the WWW. Read about it here.
