FREDERICK LOUIS GROEHLER

Frederick L. Groehler passed away Tuesday afternoon at 2:15 o clock at his home, 311 Rockwood street, Laporte.

The deceased was born in Posen, Germany, May 22, 1847 and came to this country at the age of 18 years. He was married to Henrietta Fausch, Jan. 21, 1872 and resided on a farm about three miles of this city for 40 years, for the past 10 years residing in Laporte.

Besides the widow, the following children survive: Mrs. Amelia Miller, Mrs. Robert Beal and Louise Groehler, all of Mesa, Arizona; Mrs. Henry Brown of Laporte, Mrs. Charles Hileman residing east of Michigan city and Miss Clara Groehler residing at home. Nine grandchildren also survive.

Funeral rites will be held at the home in Laporte at 1:30 o clock, standard time, Friday, with interment in Greenwood cemetery. The Rev. Walter Grabowski, of Chesterton, will officiate.

Friends are asked to omit flowers.
