Mrs. Blessing, who was born March 17, 1862, in Germany, the daughter of Michael and Eva Rotzien, came to this country 72 years ago. She and her husband, Henry Blessing, who died seven years ago, had lived almost their entire lives at Beattys Corners.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Hal Farqhuar and Mrs. Florence Flood, Mishawaka; three sons, Arthur Blessing, LaPorte, and Leo and Milton Blessing at home: also three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hummer mortuary with Rev. D. C. Ford officiating. Burial will be in Beattys Corners cemetery.
Friends may call at Hummer morturary (sic) Friday afternoon and evening and on Saturday.
