About Kirov and Nikolaev:

Someone might want to know this part, too: It's about the Kirov thing.

It is just HIGHLY POSSIBLE that Nicolaev killed Kirov because Kirov slept with his wife. JUST POSSIBLE. More probable is that people who knew him to be a jealous sort egged him on: there's the plot! U. S. Ambassador John Davies was there at that time, along with scores of other Americans teaching the Soviets how to do vocational work. These Americans TOLD DAVIES that there was fishy stuff going on, sabotage. The connections reached high up and Yagoda WAS TOLD about this stuff and did nothing. Davies also told Stalin, tho Yagoda didn't know he did! HA! Hence the Show Trial. The ENTIRE nonsense about Stalin, Kirov, Yezhov and the Show Trial is all pure invention of the totalitarian paradigmists.

See "Stalinst Terror: New Perspectives" by Getty and Manning, definitely NOT revisionists. See Stalin and Yezhov by Philip E. Panaggio. See also from the Maoist International Movement, their Stalin issue of MIM Theory, number 6, 1994 available from them (MIM@mim.org) for $5.00. LARGE issue. It has critique of Stalin in it and comparitive facts which is something Getty and Manning DO NOT use.

Facts from the archives: KIROV is the big deal upon whom much ink has been wasted.

First fact: Kirov had wired that he planned to stay where he was that fatal day. At the last minute, he changed his mind and CAME UPON Nikolaev, the man who was the husband of the woman he was sleeping with! Obviously, Nikolaev was NOT stalking Kirov.

Second fact: What was Nikolaev doing in the building? Trying to renew his party card and he had all the right to be there, OPENLY be there, unsecured, as anyone else did.

Third fact: Nikolaev had that gun 20 years prior. The NKVD didn't give it to him at all nor was there any NKVD or Stalin plot to kill Kirov.

Fourth fact: Nikolaev was considered a harmless nut, a "wannabe revolutonary."

Fifth fact: Kirov was a MINOR personality and the only clapping the audience did when Kirov spoke was when he said what STALIN said, nothing more.

Sixth fact: Kirov was not soft at all, he was a Stalinist 100%, NOT a Bukharinite (Bukharin wanted to keep NEP). Kirov was NOT a Trotskyist.

Seventh fact: Nikolaev was indeed in touch with Zinoviev allies, and two British lawyers present there at the time (they wrote "The Moscow Trial was Fair") examined all the evidence and wrote about what went on in short: I have a copy of this but it was NOT easy to get! It is not a well known manuscript in any quarters. Now if someone thinks that's because "oh, it's not the truth" then consider that Robert Conquest's rubbish is AS EASY TO FIND - BUT LESS WELL KNOWN! - than the bogus fraud called "The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion!" That's EASY to get, in fact, and quite WELL known in a lot of circles. Yet it's a totally bogus fraud, a copy of an older text called "Dialogues in Hell" by Joly!

Old Bolsheviks did not get purged during the Yezhov days and the portrayal of Yezhov was SO SKEWED and SO WARPED as to be MORE warped than, say, some rubbish Christian fundie fanatics might say about gays! THAT warped! (Imagine reading the "AIDS COVERUP" and "THE HOMOSEXUAL REVOLUTION" and then coming away with the idea that you know "what gays are like"!)

For FACTS on the so-called Yezhovshchina, "Stalinist Terror, New Perspectives" by Getty and Manning is good. But more hard-hitting and coming from another angle which is outside of ANY paradigm is Stalin and Yezhov by Philip E. Panaggio.
