Hillary Rodham (? Rodriguez Goldstein ?) Clinton's
Request for Support

Check this out. Here's another letter that was sent to somebody that I know (to put it kindly) does not like Bill or Hillary :

(my comments are centered in bold)

Dear Friend,

Over the years, I have written to you on behalf of Democratic candidates and causes. Today I am writing to make a more personal request.

Whoa!! Is that personal - like how your husband gets
personal ... or personal in the 'normal sense' ?

In July, I formed an exploratory committee to take the next step toward running for the United States Senate from New York. I took this step after much careful thought and personal reflection, and with much encouragement from New Yorkers from all walks of life. For three decades I have been a strong advocate for the causes I believe in, and I believe I can be a strong advocate for New York.

Which New Yorkers? Certainly none that I know.
Yes, I'm sure you CAN, but WILL YOU be a strong
advocate for New York?

I hope you will be one of the first to join in supporting the choice I have made.

Not on your life, sister.

In the past few weeks I have been travelling throughout New York on a Listening Tour. It began on a glorious sunny day on the farm of Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan who was kind enough to give me his full support and say he would be "with me all the way."

Moynihan ... it figures.

And it has continued through the towns and cities of the state with New Yorkers telling me their concerns and touching me with their enthusiasm.

I've heard poignant reminders of the need to protect Social Security and Medicare from the Republican budget and tax schemes. I've heard passionate pleas for stronger ways to keep guns out of the hands of kids and criminals. And I've heard real concerns about the quality of the schools and smart ideas to increase safety, instill values and raise standards for students and teachers.

Please clarify something for me ...
It's a "SCHEME" (which implies cunning
and evil) when it's something that the
Republicans want to do, and it's a
"benevolent program" when it's something
that the Democrats want to do "for us".
Right??

Pardon me - one moment. Where in the
Constitution does it give the Federal
Government permission to address issues
such as Socialized Welfare, Socialized
Medical Care (no, Hillary, we haven't forgotten),
and our Education System?

If you've been paying attention, you would
already know that there are literally thousands
of unconstitutional laws already on the books
that address the issue of 'gun control'. You'd also
know that YOUR HUSBAND's Administration is not
enforcing them.

INSTILL VALUES?? RAISE STANDARDS?? WOW,
now YOU'RE talking like a Republican or
Conservative. I guess you saw that this
'lip service' has worked for your husband
- so why wouldn't it work for YOU?

At one of the listening sessions, doctors, nurses and patients stood up and said that we need new rules to keep medical decisions in the hands of doctors and patients, not accountants. And I agree.

Why? I thought you wanted the Federal Government
to control these things - like your Federal Health
Care scheme ...

Many women have told me that we must stop the efforts in Congress to take away a woman's right to choose. And I agree.

Right to choose ... what? Their means of self-defense
against the criminals the Democrats keep unleashing from
prison to prey upon us? Oh, wait, how silly of me - you mean
their 'right to choose to kill' their unborn children. What
about a MAN'S 'right to choose' the fate of HIS unborn children?
Is homocide, except in self-defense, ever a RIGHT?

Do men have 'the right to choose' whether they want to
SUPPORT any of their children?

And all across the state, people have told me that we even though times are better, the American dream is still a fragile notion for their families. And I understand.

Do you feel our pain, too? I guess that $2.2 Million
house keeps you "in touch" with the working people. Not like
those Republicans (you know, the "party of the rich"). After
all, now you've got a mortgage, too. You'll find it's a
little tougher than living in homes furnished by the taxpayers,
like you've grown accustomed to all these years.

The more I listen and learn, the more excited I become about the progress we could make: for children, for families, for New York.

I knew it wouldn't take you long to mention "the
children". Since when do Democrats care about families?
Your power historically comes from breaking them up,
and replacing families with BIG GOVERNMENT.

I hope you share my excitement because there is a tremendous challenge ahead of us and I'll need all the help you can give.

I will not help you destroy America.

I haven't even formally announced my candidacy and already the divisive, negative Republican campaigning has begun. Let's show them that those are the politics of the past.

Really?? Then why are you listed as BOTH a candidate
for the US Senate from New York AND as a US Presidential
candidate for 2000?

A search at the Federal Election Commission site reveals:
http://herndon1.sdrdc.com/cgi-bin/qcan/

You and I have been through alot together. We have pulled together many times, often in the face of strong opposition, on campaigns for Democratic ideas and ideals. We have come together to make our voices heard on issues of vital importance to our families and communities. I hope you'll agree that because of this, our country, is a better place than it was in 1992.

We've been through a lot together, alright! But it didn't
HAVE TO be that way. What were and are you and your husband
THINKING all these years (especialy these past few)!??

I agree that we're better off FINANCIALLY since 1994 - remember? ... that was the year we elected Republican majorities to both
the Senate and House of Representatives.

Uh, Hillary ... don't ASSUME you have had MY support. That
would be ANOTHER BIG mistake.

Today, our country faces new challenges and I face a new challenge. I hope you'll face it with me. We know that for all the twists and turns, the disappointing moments and the exhilarating ones, campaigns can be wonderful shared experiences. It is my hope that, working together, we can build that kind of campaign, and by our example, teach young people about the importance of standing up for what you believe in.

... Hillary? Surely you realize that after a candidate
wins a campaign, the WORK HAS JUST STARTED? Winning an
election is NOT the goal, but the start?

Also, I surely hope that NO young people learn anything
from the likes of you, except to use you as a BAD example.

You may not be able to travel across New York with me, but in a very real sense, I am counting on you to be by my side. Please stay in touch with me if you can through my web site : http://www.hillary2000.org - or write to me.

Very good, Hillary. You have finally come to realize that
SOME OF US HAVE TO WORK in order to PAY for the "free"
programs that you espouse, and the boondoggles that you enjoy.
- And some people have the nerve to claim that you're out of
touch with the real world. Can you imagine??

I hope you will help me launch this effort by sending as generous a financial donation as you can afford. Together, I believe we can make great progress for the people of this nation.

The best thing that you and your ilk can do for the
people of this nation is to GIVE IT BACK TO US.

So .. it figures ... you want me to send money ... and all
I hear are the complaints about the "massive Republican
fund-raising machine pouring millions of dollars into the
campaign coffers of Republican Candidates".

I appreciate your friendship. I look forward to hearing your ideas, and I thank you for your support.

You do not have my friendship - and I'm sure
you DO NOT "look forward to hearing MY ideas".

Sincerely,

Is that POSSIBLE?

Hillary Rodham Clinton

P.S. Getting off to a strong start is very
important. Your decision to help right
now would mean so much.
