26. Phra Ya Tani, the Maha Uparat, Prince Bovorn Surasinghanart was put in charge to fight the Burmese troops who invaded the southern provinces. In 1786 he wiped off the Burmese forces and regained the control over all provinces in the South which covered Pattani. There he captured a siege gun nine foot long, which he ordered to bring back to Bangkok.
