The whole year's complete Results are up! Winners: John Gotti for Favorite Mobster, Gambino for Favorite Family, and The Godfather Trilogy for Favorite Mafia Movie. That was it for the voting section. More Mafia Movies could still be added by filling out the questionare. There will be no votes for the new movies, but it has to be listed through Amazon.com. At the end of this month I will decide whether to keep the Mafia Chat there is now or have a live chat room by whoever gets th most votes. The form below could also change. I am also going to soon update the Famous Mobsters section, if you want to suggest someone type it in. Also if you want a link in the Mafia Links section and a sound in the Mafia Sounds section, type that in. Check back next month!

April's Results are up! Winners: John Gotti for Favorite Mobster, Gambino for Favorite Family, and The Godfather Trilogy for Favorite Mafia Movie. John Gotti won for his tenth month in a row and Gambino and The Godfather Trilogy never lost. One movie was added this month and the total votes record was broken again. This was the last month of the voting section, and it will be closed down because that is one year's results. After May the complete year's results will be posted on the Results page and Mafia Movies. I apologize for the long wait for this month's results and to all the people that voted this month because their vote won't count. Check back next month!

March's Results are up! Winners: John Gotti for Favorite Mobster, Gambino for Favorite Family, and The Godfather Trilogy for Favorite Mafia Movie. John Gotti won for his ninth month in a row and Gambino and The Godfather Trilogy broke their old records and still haven't lost. Two movies were added this month and the total votes record was also broken. This is the last month of the voting section, then it will be closed down because that will conclude one year's results and that will be posted along with each month's. News- The month of March:
February's Results are up! Winners: John Gotti for Favorite Mobster, Gambino for Favorite Family, and The Godfather Trilogy for Favorite Mafia Movie. John Gotti won for his eighth month in a row and Gambino and The Godfather Trilogy still haven't lost. One movie was added this month, but no records were broken. In the news this month, Salvatore "Sammy the Bull" Gravano has been arrested for financing and selling an illegal drug called Ecstacy to minors. After this month there will be one more month of the voting section, then it will be closed down because that will conclude one year's results and that will be posted along with each month's. News- The month of February:
January's Results are up! Winners: John Gotti for Favorite Mobster, Gambino for Favorite Family, and The Godfather Trilogy for Favorite Mafia Movie. John Gotti won for his seventh month in a row, Gambino broke its old record with The Godfather Trilogy, and they both still haven't lost. Many more movies were added again this month and the total votes record was smashed. On a side note there is some sad news this month, Joseph Bonanno has died and will be missed even though this has been long anticipated for some time now. There also seems to be a small war in New York between the Genovese family against the Russians and Chinese. For more detailed news, go to the Mafia Chat. Check back next month!

December's Results are up! Winners: John Gotti for Favorite Mobster, Gambino for Favorite Family, and The Godfather Trilogy for Favorite Mafia Movie. John Gotti won for his sixth month in a row, Gambino tied its old record, and still hasn't lost like The Godfather Trilogy. Many more movies were added again this month. This year their should be a couple big updates, but not a lot of small ones. I hope everyone had a happy new year and no Y2K problems. Check back next month!

John Gotti broke his old record and won for his fifth month in a row, Gambino broke its old record also, and still hasn't lost like The Godfather Trilogy. Many movies were added this month and the total votes record was broken. The updates on the How the Mafia Started, Famous Mafiosi, and Mafia Sounds sections don't look like they are going to be changed before the turn of the century because I haven't had much time lately. October's Results are up! Winners: John Gotti for Favorite Mobster, Gambino for Favorite Family, and The Godfather Trilogy for Favorite Mafia Movie. John Gotti broke its old record and won for its fourth month in a row, Gambino tied its old record, and still hasn't lost like The Godfather Trilogy. The Mafia Links section was redesigned and more links were added as well as others, such as The John Gotti Tribute Page, were taken down. Watch for more updates like a big change in How the Mafia Started, more Famous Mafiosi and a new design to that section, and more sounds hopefully within the next few months. Check back next month!

September's Results are up! Winners: John Gotti for Favorite Mobster, Gambino for Favorite Family, and The Godfather Trilogy for Favorite Mafia Movie. Each of them breaking previous records and still haven't lost, except for John Gotti, but it is his third month in a row. Due to an error at Network 54, the chat provider, the chat isn't working today, 10/3, and hopefully I can get it back up soon. The Mobspeak Glossary was taken down because www.gotti.com links will no longer work and that was a link to that site. Check back next month!
News- The week of 9/26/99:
This will be the last week of updates on the voting form because I don't think many people read it. It will also be updated at the begining of every month from now because I don't have enough time to check the chat and update it once a week, so it will have that month's news and activity. To wrap it up this month it looks like John Gotti will win for 3 months in a row pretty much doubling everyone else's votes and already breaking his old record for Favorite Mobster. For Favorite Family Gambino will break its old record too. Also The Godfather Trilogy will possibly break its record for Favorite Mafia Movie, but I don't think Goodfellas will. I will probably have the results up on Sunday. That's all for the final weekly update, from now on it will be monthly.
News- The week of 9/19/99:
John Gotti has a pretty good enough lead that it looks like he might win again, but you never know with a little bit more than a week to go, Alphonse Capone is getting back up there and he is in second place for the first time in a while, and Charles Luciano is two behind him and Carlo Gambino is one behind him for Favorite Family. It is hard to tell if Gambino is going to break its old record after last month, but it might for Favorite Family. And last in Favorite Mafia Movie The Godfather Trilogy is winning with Goodfellas a little behind like usual. That's all this week!
News- The week of 9/12/99:
There are a lot of votes already in just a week and a half. Looks like John Gotti is going for three months in a row as he leads Charles Luciano by ten, who leads Carlo Gambino and Alphonse Capone who are tied by two for Favorite Mobster. Gambino might break its old record for the third month in a row too as the other families are still in single digits for Favorite Family. For Favorite Mafia Movie The Godfther Trilogy want to be like Gambino and break its record for the third month in a row also, while Scarface and Casino give Goodfellas competition. That about wraps it up for this week.
News- The week of 9/5/99:
August's Results are up! More records were broken this month. Lets just do the leaders, John Gotti broke his by eleven, Gambino broke its by fourteen, and The Godfather Trilogy broke its also by six. Also for the first time the total amount of votes in at least one catagory broke two hundred. For Favorite Mobster John Gotti won with a nine vote lead over Charles Luciano, and as the rest of the month Carlo Gambino was behind him and Alphonse Capone behind him ending up in fourth for the first time. Gambino as always dominated the others by more than one hundred votes for Favorite Family. The Godfather Trilogy just like Gambino hasn't not came in first, but Goodfellas does seem to get a lot of votes as they are always in second and the others usually way behind for Favorite Mafia Movie. Wait until next week for a summary of this month's results so far.
News- The week of 8/29/99:
It looks like John Gotti is going to win again this month as he takes an eight vote lead over Charles Luciano and is already breaking his old record, Carlo Gambino is way behind in third, but beating Alphonse Capone by five for Favorite Mobster. Gambino might of already broke its record too, as did Bonnano in second place with a nice lead over the rest of them for Favorite Family. Lastly, for Favorite Mafia Movie The Godfather Trilogy might be another record breaker just like Goodfellas and it has three more days to do that. News- The week of 8/22/99:
It has been close the whole time between John Gotti and Charles Luciano for Favorite Mobster, but at the end of this week John Gotti pulled ahead of him by five, while Carlo Gambino waits behind and Alphonse Capone not getting the amount votes he usually gets makes him fourth. It doesn't look like Gambino is going to break its old record, but with a little more than a week left it has a chance for Favorite Family. The Godfather Trilogy still has a nice lead over Goodfellas for Favorite Mafia Movie. Try and see, Family Values: The Mob and the Movies on 8:00 EST on TNT, August 24.

This week it is still close for Favorite Mobster as John Gotti and Charles Luciano are tied and Carlo Gambino is a little bit behind them and Alphonse Capone in fourth with half the votes of the leaders. Gambino takes a big lead, like usual, for Favorite Family. For Favorite Mafia Movie The Godfather Trilogy has an alright lead over Goodfellas, while the others only have a couple votes yet for Favorite Mafia Movie. That's all this week.

A quick update on the voting form for this week. For Favorite Mobster John Gotti is taking over the lead again only one vote ahead of Charles Luciano, while Alphonse Capone and Carlo Gambino, who are tied, trail him by five. Gambino will try and break its record again this month for Favorite Family. The Godfather Trilogy is leading Goodfellas by ten, who is beating Scarface by four and the rest only have a couple of votes so far for Favorite Mafia Movie.
News- The week of 8/1/99:
July's Results are up! Many records were broken this month: Total votes in each catagory, Gambino's amount of votes, The Godfather Father Trilogy's amount of votes, Goodfellas amount of votes, ect. John Gotti kept the lead most of the month and ended up four ahead of Alphonse Capone and Charles Luciano who tied for second, but after last month's win Carlo Gambino fell into third six votes behind them. Gambino was on a record pace like I said and they beat their old record by twenty one to take an easy victory this month. The Godfather Trilogy beat their old record by four beating Goodfellas who also beat their record by ten, with Casino in third, Scarface in fourth and Gotti behind in fifth place. Next week July's Results will be up and so far John Gotti has a nine vote lead over Charles Luciano's one vote lead over Alphonse Capone, who is ahead of Carlo Gambino by one for Favorite Mobster. Gambino is almost in triple digits as Bonnano is the only other one to make it into double digits in Favorite Family. For Favorite Mafia Movie The Godfather Trilogy is almost doubling Goodfellas votes and tripling all the others. Try to catch Bonanno: A Godfather's Story Part 1 on Showtime Sunday, July 25 at 8:00 P.M. EST and Part 2 Monday, July 26 at 8:00 P.M. EST.

The same four people that are usually in the lead for Favorite Mobster still are with John Gotti in the lead with 3 votes ahead of Charles Luciano and Alphonse Capone 3 behind him, while in fourth Carlo Gambino is waiting to make it into double digits with the other 3 leaders. Gambino is on a record setting pace and if it follows that it will beat May's total votes for first place in Favorite Family. For Favorite Mafia Movie The Godfather Trilogy has almost a 20 vote lead over Goodfellas, Casino and Gotti.

The first full week of July's results are in. John Gotti is tied with Al Capone and Charles Luciano behind by one, then Carlo Gambino is behind him by 3 for Favorite Mobster. Gambino is winning as always for Favorite Family. And in Favorite Mafia Movie The Godfather Trilogy is beating Goodfellas by five with Casino, Gotti and Scarface close behind. June's Results are up! I am sorry about the end of this this month and the begining of this week. When Geocities merged with Yahoo! they changed around some stuff and I had the wrong member name in the form so I wasn't getting any results and I quickly found that out and changed it. Carlo Gambino jumped from fourth to first to win Favorite Mobster, Charles Luciano came in second with Alphonse Capone and John Gotti tying for third. No change as Gambino blew away its competition to win Favorite Family with the others close together way behind. For Favorite Mafia Movie The Godfather Trilogy won again with Goodfellas in second, but this time Gotti was in third and Scarface in fourth. Wait until next week for the newest in this month's votes.

Only a couple days until this month's results are posted and right now for Favorite Mobster Carlo Gambino is ahead of Charles Luciano by two, while Alphonse Capone and John Gotti are tied behind them. Gambino will probably win again, but the other families are within a couple of each other for second for Favorite Family. The Godfather Trilogy is winning with Goodfellas and Gotti close behind for Favorite Mafia Movie. I will try to have the results up on Thursday or Friday and you could read next week's news to see a summary.

Happy Father's Day everyone! I got rid of the Link Exchange counter because it kept going back and not registering visitors if you were wondering why the sudden increase. I am now using geocities' counter and preset to the stats I have since I started my site, you can go to http://www.hitbox.com/ and search for La Cosa Nostra to find them. On the voting form John Gotti is beating Charles Luciano by one who is beating Carlo Gambino by one who is beating Alphonse Capone by two, so it is still pretty close for Famous Mobster. Gambino is winning for Favorite Family. Lastly, The Godfather Trilogy is ahead of Gotti by two taking the lead so far for Favorite Mafia Movie.

John Gotti is winning for Famous Mobster beating Carlo Gambino by two votes, who is beating Charles Luciano by one, with Alphonse Capone in the next place falling behind in his normal votes. Gambino is winning again with Genovese far behind in second place and the rest tied for the Favorite Family section. The Godfather Trilogy and Gotti are tied for the lead with Goodfellas on their trail, this should be a good one for Favorite Mafia Movie. News- The week of 6/6/99:
The first full month's Results are up! One vote ahead of John Gotti decided the winner to be Alphonse Capone for Famous Mobster. Gambino won with 116 out of the 168 total votes and the rest of the families tied at 7 except Genovese with 25. The Mafia Movies section is now different with new results and movies. Combining all the Godfathers into The Godfather Trilogy really helped them win. It looks like so far Gotti might win already because in just couple days it has almost doubled its total votes from last time since I added it to the form. If you click on any movie you can purchase it right from there and it will help move this site to a new address also. You will have to wait until next week to get the results on the total votes so far because it has only been a half of a week.

With only two days left until this month's results are posted anyone can win in the Favorite Mobster and Favorite Mafia Movie sections. News- The week of 5/23/99:
As the third week this month comes to a close Al Capone is in the lead by one over Charles Luciano who is beating Gotti by two, it is pretty close now. You don't really have to wonder because you know Gambino is in the lead for Favorite Family, but the other families are still getting some votes too. The Godfther Part I is beating Goodfellas by about ten now, but anything can happen with about a week and a half left before the next results are posted.
News- The week of 5/16/99:
Quick update this week. I am writing this on Saturday for the week because I probably won't be checking here on Sunday and/or Monday. Charles Luciano and Alphonse Capone are tied, Gotti is 2 votes behind them. Gambino doesn't really have much competition from what they are bating everyone else by, but the others are getting some votes yet too. Kind of close between The Godfather Part I and Goodfellas, The Godfather Part I is leading by 5 though. That about does it for the second week so far this month.

Happy Mother's Day! Nothing new this week. Charles Luciano is leading by a couple with John Gotti and Alphonse Capone close behind and Carlo Gambino is getting up there with quite a few votes too. Gambino is leading Favortie Family as expected, but Genovese is on their tail. Goodfellas is in the lead by only two votes ahead of The Godfather Part I and Scarface and Casino are not far from them for Favorite Mafia Movie. I will give you some kind of an idea of how the results are every week because anyone could upset others.
News- The week of 5/2/99:
The first Results are up! It was pretty close between the Famous Mobsters: Alphonse Capone, John Gotti and Charles Luciano, Gotti won by 2. Gambino really blew away its competition for Favorite Family. The Godfather Part I was the winner for Favorite Mafia Movie. Glad to see all the votes in just one week, there will be very many in one month and I am looking forward to seeing the new results. Also because of the short amount of people out of all I could of had on the Favorite Mobsters section I am now going to shorten the limit of votes needed to two when you select Other so we can have a bigger list. The Mafia Movies section will only require one vote for it to be added too. In all three sections stuff listed that don't recieve any votes will not be listed either.
News- The week of 4/25/99:
As you can probably see I have changed the form around. You can now pick the ratings for the Mafia Movies section by voting for what you want, but remember only vote once. The first results will be posted on May 1. Read the description about it below to find out more. I would also like to inform some people coming to this site that this site, Cosa Nostra or the Italian Mafia have nothing to do with the "Trenchcoat Mafia" and don't want to be related in any way towards them. Well nothing really new this week. I might not be checking up on the chat on Monday and Thursday. And the last comment on the Famous Mafiosi section update is that it will take over a month or so and I should have it done before summer, hopefully. Then I will announce when it is done. John Gotti's son John Gotti Jr. pleads guilty to racketeering, bribery, extortion and other charges which lead up to 7 years in prision and fines of over $1 million in cash and property.
News- The week of 4/4/99:
Happy Easter everyone! I have decided to shorten the limit of threads, or header messages that you make that people can respond to, on the Chat to 30 instead of 50 before it goes to a new page. Also I am going to update the Famous Mafiosi section soon and add a lot more people. I will be gone Monday and Tuesday so I will not be able to check up on the chat, so please keep it clean. John Gotti Jr. is also on trial for murder, robery, and racketeering, as I was informed about from the chat.
News- The week of 3/28/99:
Good news this week, I have reached 100,000 visitors on this site since 2/23/98, but the counter wouldn't register past that. I got a new one and don't know the exact number of hits so I started it at 100,000. This news section is also new. It will be updated every week so that I don't have to post anything on the chat and the old news will be deleted every Sunday after replacing it with new news and be kept. It will consist of page updates and ideas people have, as well as information on what is going on with the Mafia today.
