In order to provide Cherusken with a national currency, the following law is hereby enacted:

The Ministry of Finance is hereby authorized to design and produce Cheruskian currency. Said currency shall be known as the Thaler. The Thaler's initial value shall be tied to that of the U.S. Dollar, at 10 Thaler to 1 USD.

The Ministry of Finance is hereby instructed to have a small supply of temporary currency produced, until the final design can be manufactured.
