January 25, 1999Cherusken's mission to LOSS has issued a policy statement in regards to the admission of new members to the League. The policy is posted under the policy section of the mission's website.
On the Admission of New Members Cherusken believes that in order for the League to be strong, it must be representative of the many diverse facets of the micronational world. Therefore, Cherusken advocates active participation by many micronations in the League. Ideally, voting on the admission of members would be nothing more than a formality. However, despite our overall conviction that a full League is desirable, we understand that some micronations may not be appropriate members. Specifically, those who seek to disrupt their neighbors, as well as those who have engaged in questionable netiquette, should be carefully examined. In such cases, unless the offense is especially egregious, Cherusken will usually abstain. Only under circumstances where we feel that the admission of a member would seriously weaken the League would Cherusken vote against an applicant.
