The Assembly has approved the creation of a post office, which will revolutionize Cheruskian communications. The creation of a central postal authority was called for after a citizen recieved large amounts of "spam". Although it is not certain if this was due to the presence of said citizen's e-mail address on the Cheruskian web page, the Councilors nonetheless passed the bill, 3 to 1. The bill will be posted soon, in a special archive which is to be established for such laws.

The Post Office will be under the authority of the King, who is constitutionally mandated to keep the contents of such a database secret. Brentus Maximus was the sole dissenting Councilor; he explained that he feared that the plan would prove unworkable. Nonetheless, he has promised to fully implement the law, and says, "I hope they prove my fears unfounded."

The Foreign Ministy announced that it will notify those governments with whom Cherusken has diplomatic relations of the change in communications.

Several of the Councilors have echoed the King's fears regarding the feasibility of the postal project, but have noted that if the new system does not work, the law will simply have to be repealed.
