Guinea-Bissau: Development Specialists Study Reconstruction Plans

Bissau, Jan. 20 (Lusa) - A score of aid and development specialists began meeting here Tuesday under the auspices of the United Nations Development Program (UNPD) to draw up plans for Guinea-Bissau's post-war reconstruction.

The UNDP has estimated that some dlrs 20 million will be needed for the various projects under analysis.

Portugal is coordinating the working groups studying the rehabilitation of the telecommunications and public administration sectors.

It also participates in a variety of other working groups, including on health, education, water and sanitation.
