(2) Carloman of Bavaria, King of Bavaria, son of Louis II and Emma of Bavaria. Born 828, died 880. Married Litwinde and had son Arnulf.
(3) Arnulf of Carinthia, born 863, died 899. Son of Carloman and Litwinde. Married Oda of Bavaria and had daughter Hedwige.
(4) Hedwige, daughter of Arnulf and Oda. Married Duke Otto of Saxony (born 836, died November 20th, 912). Hedwige and Otto had son Henry. Hedwige died December 24th, 903.
(5) Henry I, "the Fowler", Holy Roman Emperor. Son of Hedwige and Duke Otto of Saxony. Married Saint Matilda of Ringelheim. Henry was born about 876, died June 2nd, 936. |
