(1) Gilbert the Marshal, died 1129. Married an unknown woman and had son John. (2) John FitzGilbert the Marshal, died 1165. Son of Gilbert and an unknown woman. Married Sibyl de Salisbury and had son William. (3) William Marshal, born 1146. Died May 14th, 1219. Son of John and Sibyl. Married Isabel de Clare and had daughter Isabella. (4) Lady Isabella Marshal, born October 9th, 1200. Died January 17th, 1240. Married Gilbert de Clare.
