(1) Baldwin FitzGilbert de Moers, born 1022 in Meules, Normandy, France. Died 1090. Son of Gilbert, Count of Brionne and Emma of Anjou. Married Emma de Brienne and had son Roger.

(2) Roger de Moers, born about 1050. Son of Baldwin and Emma. Married an unknown woman and had son Nicholas.

(3) Nicholas de Moers, born about 1090. Son of Roger and an unknown woman. Married an unknown woman and had son Juhel.

(4) Juhel de Moers, born about 1130. Son of Nicholas and an unknown woman. Married an unknown woman and had son Robert.

(6) Robert de Moers, born about 1170. Son of Juhel and an unknown woman. Married Roesia (surname unknown) and had son Nicholas.

(7) Nicholas de Moers, Sheriff of Hampshire, born 1204. Died 1264. Son of Robert and Roesia. Married Hawise Neufmarche and had son Roger. Having been brought up in the court of King John, Nicholas was a powerful person in the court of King Henry III, in whose reign in served the various offices as Ambassador, Sheriff, Governer of the Islands of Guernsey, Jersey, Sark, and Aurenay, and Governer of castles at Canterbury, Rorchester, Shirbourne, and others. He won a signal victory over the King of Navarre, and was then employed agaisnt the Welsh. The King referred to him as "Colin" when sending a messenger to Canterbury in September of 1215.

(8) Roger de Moers, Marshall of the Army, born 1240 in Cornwall, England. Died 1295. Son of Nicholas and Hawise. Married Alice de Preaux and had son John. An adherent to King Henry in the Baron's Wars, in 1267 he was appointed a keeper of the Isle of Wight.

(9) Baron John I de Moers, born 1269. Died May 30th, 1310. Son of Roger and Alice. Married Maud de Grey and had son John.

(10) Baron John II de Moers, born 1293. Died 1337. Son of John and Maud. Married Maud Lovel and had daughter Muriel.

(11) Muriel de Moers, born May 31st, 1322 in Marnhull, Dorsetshire, England. Daughter of John and Maud. Married Thomas de
Courtenay.
