Kim Young, in the middle, is the third member of the trio of Bridge Bunnies, which include Vanessa and Sammie. Kim is in the middle when it comes to age, not as young as Sammie, and not as old as Vanessa, so she is the middle ground. Not quite as dramatic and silly as Sammie, but not nearly as serious and focused as Vanessa.
Kim can usually be seen Konda if she's not on the bridge or with her friends.
Kim is fun-loving, and is the worst gossiper of the group always looking for something new to pass on to her friends.
Still Kim, like the rest of the trio knows when to be serious, and works well under pressure. Kim along with Sammie seem to be incharge of internal operations within the SDF-l such as the modular transformation and the placement of weaponary systems, destriods and veritechs.
One of the trios favorite topics of gossip is Rick and Lisa relationship, especially after the last battle with the Zentreadi Imperial Fleet, when Rick and Lisa become closer. However, they don't seem to offer much advice to Lisa about how to solve her problems, perfering to talk about them instead. However Kim means well, and probably doesn't feel she has a right to tell Lisa what to do.
The trio is assigned to the SDF-2, the ship that is supposed to go to Robotech Master Home Planet, with a bid for peace. The ship however is distroyed during Khyron's final attack, and begins to sink, it is connected to the SDF-1 by a tunnel of sorts, so the Bridge Bunnies and Lisa all make it back to their original and prepare to distroy Khyron's cruiser and prevent the distruction of Macross City.
