Super Veritech

Used by: High ranking officers for space missions.
The Super Veritech was created in order to bring up the Human's force, because of the overwhealming number of Zentraedi battlepods the only surefire way to beat them would be to have a heavily armed mecha.
The first mecha to try and fill this gap, the Armored Veritech, was a real failure, despite is massive armanent and good armor it was near impossible to move, making it a prime target for any good pilot.
The Super Veritech however used the weapon of spped, as well as additional armor and weapons. With the FAST pack, which can be connected to any conventional Veritech, the plane can fly faster then the fastest Zentraedi mecha, that is the Queadluun-Rau. It also has a large number of missles in the FAST pack, not as many as the Queadluun-Rau, but a lot. 20 in each pack, to equal 40 as well as the six to twelve missles on the winds. It also has two extra lasers in the leg attachments, which makes dealing with pods a breeze.
The only real problem with the FAST pack is it has no atmospheric capabilties and therefore must be jettisoned before the Veritech can return to Earth's atmosphere.
There was only about a Squadron or so of Super Veritech FAST packs made in time for Dolza's attack. These were given to the best pilots and well used well throughout the attack.
After that there were not many Super Veritechs due to the lack of atmospheric capiblites, though they were used anytime there was a space mission.
The Super Veritech served it purpose well, and was indeed a well made mecha to help the SDF-1's forces.
