I've played soccer since I was a first grader. It's always been my passion, and amongst the many sports I've played in my life, it's the only one that I stuck with. I went from Rec Ed teams to travel teams to Club teams to school teams. I was a starting Varsity forward for three years, Varsity high scorer for two, and Offensive MVP my senior year. I took pride in my skill and had fun every time I stepped onto the field. It's difficult to get used to not having soccer there after school everyday. I made the decision to give it up when I began college because it would take up too much of my time and there were so many new things that I wanted to try. I played on two different IM soccer teams here at Michigan though, so that helps fill the void. I am also the assistant coach of the women's Varsity soccer team at Huron high school now.
