APPEAL FOR SUPPORT FROM KIDNEY DIALYSIS FOUNDATION (KDF)

KDF would like to appeal for your support in adopting KDF as the charity for your fund-raising projects.

KDF is a newly established organisation set up in February 1996 with the help of Ministry of Health to:

• provide dialysis for the economically disadvantaged members of the public,
• organise talks and spreading awareness to the public of preventive measures in avoiding kidney failure,
• keep the public and those in the medicine service aware of new development in the treatment of renal diseases.

To continue to provide dialysis to the poor, KDF needs $1.4 million to operate their two dialysis centre. The patients are heavily subsidised and some of them pay as little as $65 monthly for 13 dialysis treatments as compared to a full fee of close to $2,000.
