Brause, Speedball, Mitchell, Exacto are all trademarked brand names.
The articles describing the making of particular pieces all reference particular tools. This short article presents images of many of the mentioned tools, that you may get an idea of what the tools look like. As I had to make most of the images by laying the tool on a flatbed scanner, the pictures are sometimes a bit weird looking, but nonetheless, they will suit the purpose. Clicking on the links below will give an image that was scanned somewhere between 100-200% of actual size.

Some tools mentioned are fairly commonplace, and so are not represented here. However, I will make mention of them, as that will allow this article to serve a second purpose: that of a general list of supplies you will find useful.
Ruler, rolling ball pen (or other fine-tipped, permanent ink, black pen, such as a technical pen or Alvin penstick), mechanical pencil, plastic or vinyl eraser, paper, board.
Are there other tools you are curious about? Please feel free to contact me at merouda@geocities.com, and if I can get it (or a picture of it!) to fit on a flatbed scanner, I'll try to put the picture online.
