Political science is the study of government and political processes. These include but are not limited to elections, legislatures, the courts, heads of governments and/or states, &c. Also of interest is the policy process whether it be domestic or foreign. All avenues of the political spectrum are explored.Politics is indeed a science. It is no longer the government classes of a generation or two ago. We indeed have our methods of inquiry. At most universities undergrads and grad students alike are required to take at least one course in methodolgy. As the millenium approaches hopefully there will be more demand for political scientists in and out of academia.
