Nebraska State Reporter Dorothy Stevens

Hello from McCook Community College! First, I would like to thank you for electing me to this position, for a second year. I am a nontraditional student who is enjoying life to the fullest. I have a very supportive 16 year old son, Morgan, who is a junior in high school. We live in McCook, but are natives of Illinois.

I have only one semester under my belt, but am very active in PBL. Crystal Farr and I were elected to the office of co-presidents in our local chapter for this fall. I also belong to Phi Theta Kappa. Also, I am very active in my church, teaching sunday school.

This year had already been very exciting and very educational, along with being fun. Our team promises to try to be the best ever. We sure have gotten off to a great start. If this summer is an indication to the rest of the year, I can't wait for it to start.
