This is a poem that I found on a little pocket card, and I really like it a lot. I originally bought it for one of my friends, but I might keep it for myself.

Life Isn't Always Easy
Written by: Bruce B. Wilmer

Life has its trials and obstacles
Its measure of setbacks and spills
Life has its true disappointments,
Its mountains that start out as hills.

Sometimes we can't find the answers.
Often we end up depressed.
Frequently we have the feeling
That life is a terrible test.

Simple solutions elude us.
Difficult questions remain.
Thought is a lingering burden,
A well of emotional pain.

Nevertheless, there's a dignity
That we eventually find,
Born of a growing awareness
Of victories won in the mind.

No battles can ever be greater
Than those that may never be won.
The fact that you've gallantly struggled
Is one fact that can't be undone.

The past is a bundle of memories
Infusing the present with tears
But you are that person courageous
Who valliantly still perseveres.

This poem is dedicated to Chris Hancock, who was going through a rough time when I made this page. I just want you to know that I am here for you for as long as you need me. No matter what, we'll still be friends. Friends Forever! I think that James Taylor said it best; "Just Call Out My Name, and I'll be There...You've got a Friend."
