Garden of Lutenist Delights

I'm finally getting around to adding a bit of text here. You may have gathered already that I consider the lute my main instrument. Well, I would like to think it's what I play best. It was my good fortune to get a new lute a few months ago, which meant I actually got to help select materials used and some of the optional details. It's an early renaissance 6 course G lute based on one built by Hans Frei.
Larry K. Brown built this one in September 1997.

I also play recorder, krummhorn, dulcian, rackett, gemshorn, cittern (not so well), and am learning to play viol. I recently got alto and tenor cornetti, but I wouldn't call what I can do with them thus far play. . .

This work was done by someone who knows me very well indeed.

I really do have a variety of other interests, and I might eventually get around to devulging a bit more, but not this night - at's after midnight, again. Send me some email if you have any questions.                         pastimesmusic@yahoo.com
