MAT 107 : Elementary Descriptive Geometry

This course is designed to prepare students to teach the geometry included in a modern NCTM STANDARDS based K-8 curriculum. Emphasis is on geometric exploration activities, problem solving and informal deductive reasoning using many of the manipulatives used to teach geometric concepts in K-8. Prerequisite : High school geometry and satisfactory performance on the MAT 107 qualitying exam.
