Manifesting Art of Social Service Scheme (MASS)

WHAT is MASS?

MASS is a 6-month program, including training courses (2-23 Mar.), social services program (Apr.), hospital painting (4 May), FUN FAIR, interflow camp (26-28 Jul.), and exhibition/ publication (Aug.). MASS recruited nearly 100 secondary students and 50 tertiary students who are enthusiastic about participating in social services.

WHY are we organizing MASS?

• To cultivate the participants' interest and concern in social services.
• To introduce various kinds of social services in Hong Kong and arouse the public awareness.
• To motivate more people to serve others voluntarily.

WHO

The FUN FAIR is opened to public. 10,000 visitors are expected to come especially families and peers (aged between 6 to 25).

It will be held on 21 July 1996 (Sunday)

WHERE

Victoria Park - the 4th to 6th football pitches

The FUN FAIR is the highlight of our program. We hope that the participating students will not only find that community services and meaningful, but also will they acquire skills like communications planning and increase their sense of responsibility. In addition, we believe that the FUN FAIR can highly arouse public awareness and reinforce public contribution.
