Lantern Competition!!

The Association of Sri-Lankans at the University of Arizona (ASLUA) in association with the organizers are delighted to welcome you to the first ever ASLUA Vesak Lantern Competition.

Please assert all of your creative forces and present a selection of lanterns that we can all enjoy and be proud of. As even more incentive, prizes will be awarded for the top three designs!!!

• Select comfort sheets that complement any bedroom decor.
• Delightful and bright colored towels, so soft to the touch.
• All STEEL tough-guy toolset, so you'll be well-prepared to handle any automotive or household repairs.

Rules:

You may build your lantern as you wish, but you will have to provide your own materials. Small bulbs will be provided to be placed inside your lantern. Make sure that there is some way in which your lantern can be hung on the string provided. IMPORTANT: Please DO NOT use any highly flammable materials or have any open flames.

So what’s the next step?? GET STARTED ON THOSE LANTERNS!!! If you would like to participate please email ASLUA (ASLUA@LISTSERV.ARIZONA.EDU) with your name and contact information and bring your creation in on the 3rd.
