All Sanawarians/Visitors should be aware that the hill-top has many natural limitations and the Headmaster alongwith the Staff and Students would like to make the Founders, a memorable event, inspite of all the logistical problems of arranging transportation and accommodation.
It would be wise for those coming to Sanawar for the Founders to tie-up with Parents/Old Sanawarians in the Chandigarh-Shimla belt for their accommodation and transportation. The School has blocked all rooms available in this belt and would like to give priority to non-Indian overseas guests, especially the pre 1947 Old Sanawarians for room allocation.
Thomas Cook has been appointed to act as the official agency within India i.e. Delhi to take care of any Old Sanawarian/Parents coming from overseas. They would arrange accommodation in Delhi, transportation to Sanawar and also arrange for accommodation within the rooms available in The Chandigarh-Shimla belt. After keeping certain number of rooms which the School has booked for their official guests, the balance rooms would be handed over to Thomas Cook to allocate as and when they are contacted.

We have also asked Thomas Cook to offer a package deal, if someone wants from say London, New York and some central points in Australia and Canada. They have not promised to come up with such a deal but they would consider forming a package if they were told how many would like to take up such an offer. Requests may be made direct to Thomas Cook in Delhi or their counterparts overseas.
