I spent 2 glorious days in Yosemite. The views are incredible and there are always surprises around every corner. Being there at the end of May, I witnessed the majesty of the waterfalls at peak snowmelt. Of course, all the rivers and lakes were 33 degrees because of it, but you can't have everything!
The Merced River was running swiftly and formed rapids in many areas due to the snowmelt volume. BRRRR! My favorite waterfall, Bridalveil, can be seen in the background.
The Pacific Dogwood is a bit different the the southern Dogwood tree that I grew up with, but equally beautiful.
Hallelujah! Misty and I thought we'd never get to Vernal Falls. We had to hike almost a mile UP a mountain to get to this location called the "Mist Trail."
