Lucille George of Columbia died Friday, March 17, 2000 at Ashland Healthcare. She was 75.

Mrs. George was born June 18, 1924 in Marshall to William and Lula Jane Patrick Ridge. She married Wallace George, Sr. on Feb. 4, 1945 in Marshall.

Mrs. George is survived by three sons William George of Columbia; Gary Gene George of Hartsburg; and Wally George of Marshall; a daughter Judy Gay Creason of Boonville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Fairview Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Visitation for Mrs. George will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W. in Columbia. Services will immediately follow visitation at the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Red Top Cemetery in Hallsville.
