The following photo was taken by Ricky Flores, photographer for the Journal News in White Plains, New York.  The photo has been receiving a lot of media attention nationwide. Below is a e-mail message that Flores sent us describing reaction to the photo and the tragic events of the day.

"I have been covering the attack of the World Trade Center bombing in New York and the response to one of the photos that I have taken on the first day of the attack has simply been overwhelming  I have recieved calls from around the county on that photo but I guess it was another way for people to talk to someone, anyone, even a stranger to grieve and express their shock and sorrow on the attack. Anyway I thought I would pass this out to all of you as another way for me to try to come to grips with that day."
