SEPTEMBER
It's getting busy nowadays as I'm taking 7 classes and looking for a job at the same time. Wish me a luck!
AUGUST 30
I came back to U.S. again, first time in almost 3 years. As it's my last year at college, I need to study hard!!
APRIL ~ JULY
Work is more challenging than I expected, but I'm gaining a valuable experience at Bain & Company. I plan to work till Mid July, then go back to U.S. in late August.
APRIL 25
I got an internship at Bain & Company , a management consulting firm located in Jongro, as a research assistant. 백수탈출 & new life began~~^^
APRIL 11, 2003
제대했습니다. My army life is finally over. I've had a good time at Camp Walker, Daegu for 26 months. I'll look for an internship before going back to the States in August. 병장 김형준 26개월간의 군생활을 화려하게 마친뒤 제대를 명받았음을 신고합니다. 단결!! ㅋㅋ
ARMY YEARS (FEB 2001 ~ APR 2003)
I'm doing well in the army. Top pic was taken in December 02 with my KATUSA buddies. (I'm the one at the top right.) Bottom pic was taken in April 01, right after I was assigned to the unit.

FEBRUARY 12, 2001
군대갑니다. I'll enter the basic training camp in Nonsan. I'll be trained here for 6 weeks, then moved to Uijungbu for KATUSA Training Academy (KTA) for another 3 weeks. I'll be back!! 군생활 열심히 하겠습니다. 충성!!
JANUARY 17~FEBRUARY 11
Having fun in Korea with my family and friends. I hung out with 진호, 치호, 호창, 영주, 종숙, 웅, 윤성, 영미, 기환 and 성웅 the most of time. I'll miss them while I'm in the training camp.
JANUARY 16, 2001
Came back to Korea for the army. I arrived at 6:50 AM at the Kimpo Airport.
DECEMBER 24~JANUARY 14
The semester ended and I traveled around the Northeastern U.S. I spent the Christmas Day in New York City and the New Year's Eve in Toronto~ I also visited Washington D.C., Niagara Falls, Atlantic City, Philadelphia and Balitimore. I hung out with EunJung and her sister in Baltimore and Washington D.C. I also did snowboarding in Pennsylvania and bought the equipments in Canada. This 3 weeks was so wonderful that I will never forget in my life~^^
NOVEMBER 22~26
Thanksgiving Holidays~ I went to aunt's house in Philadelphia. I also visited EunJung in Baltimore on 24th where we had a great time. She took me to her school Johns Hopkins, then we had a dinner at Japanese Restaurant, bought stuff at Korean supermarket and visited Inner Harbor at Baltimore Downtown. This year's Thanksgiving was very relaxing and nice!
NOVEMBER 1
I'm admitted to KATUSA (Korea Augmentation to the United States Army) and will serve military duty from February 12th for 26 months. I plan to go to Korea in late January of 2001 and prepare for the army.
OCTOBER 7
Fall Break~! I went to New York to see Hancho where we hung out at 32nd Street and had a dinner at a Japanese restaurant. I spent the rest of the break at my aunt's house in Philadelphia.
SEPTEMBER 4
I went to New York with my cousin on Labor Day. We hung out at 32nd Street where Korean stores are located.
AUGUST 24
I updated my homepage, adding many pictures taken in Korea.
AUGUST 20
I moved to a new apartment near the university. A new life began~~
AUGUST 17
I left Korea and arrived at an airport in N.Y. I went to my aunt's house in Philadelphia and get ready to go to school
AUGUST 15
I met GMT friends, SeungSeok, MyungJin, Mina, ShinNam, Wook and JiWoon at Kangnam Station. We had lunch together at Pavillion and spend long hours for talking.
AUGUST 14
Mokdong buddies got together again at Mokdong 5 gurri. ChiHo, JinHo, HoChang, HeeYong, YongHa, YongJu, JongSook, SeungUp, JunBum and I were there to hang out. Lots of guys were drunken and had hang over the next day~~^^
JULY 30
I went to Sokcho with my elementary school friends, YoonSung, YoungMi, KiHwan, JiSeon and HyunMi. It was nice to see the sea again in nealy six month. We had lots of fun at condominium as well as on the road.
JUNE 25
I met my Kaepo Elementary School friends "윤성 & 영1?#034; at Kangnam Station for the first time in 12 years. 윤성 became very tall & funny and 영1?became very pretty & talkative~^^ It was very fun to talk about our old days and soon we became very close as we were back in elementary school~! I can't wait to see them again next weekend~!
JUNE 24
Middle school reunion from I love school . There were about 30 kids that I've never met since I graduated middle school. We drank at "20 something" at Shinchon, then went to Yonsei campus for the 2nd one, then finished up at Mokdong with having nuddles. What a fun day~!
JUNE 11~16
Finals week~ I have 3 exams on ??1タし
Class meeting at nightclub. 희용, 원태, 웅, 장은, 영주, 준경 and I went to Juliana for clubbing where we had lots of fun. It was first time to go there with female friends~ but males and females sat on different table for 'booking.'^^ Drunken 한조 stopped by later on as well~ What a wonderful night!
Reunion~ ?#060;ETH>원친구들 got together and had a reunion at Mok-dong. 영주, 장은, 희진, 준경, 희용, 치호, 진호 and I had lots of fun for drinking and bowling together~
신32's sister had a daily bar with colleagues from Ewha at Apgujung-dong. 신32, 진혁, 성원, 진권 and I were there for "slave-ting" and we had lots of fun~
I had a 'meeting' with girls from Sungshin Women's University. It was 5 on 5 and I arranged it for my GMT fellas~ We met in Shinchon and drank, sang songs, danced together until 2 PM~ it was very fun! Good to have a 'meeting' in such a long time.
MAY 6
I saw the movie "Erin Brockovich" with 현주. We did DDR, had dinner, drank cofee and studied together afterward. It's always fun to be with her.
MAY 5
Acedemy reunion~ The guys who went to academy together, 진호, 치호, 영주, 준경 and me, got together in Shinchon for drinking. Then we went to Ilsan afterward for dinner. It's very nice to meet old friends.
APRIL 26
Exam is over. 웅 had a break from army. 웅, 진우 and I saw the soccer game between Korea and Japan at a restaurant near Hanyang Univ. After that we went to Juliana for clubbing.
APRIL 24
Midterm starts~ I only have 2 exams (int'l trade and psychology) and it goes until 26th.
APRIL 12
Friends from GMT and I went to the club Juliana. A total of 9 fellas "지수, 성욱이형, 태균이형, 중1? Lawrence, Alex, 현주, Heidi and I" had lots of fun~
APRIL 1
InKyu came to Korea from Germany for a break. We went to the club Boss and had fun.
MARCH 25
I went to Saeter for M.T. with "GMT" friends. We had lots of fun overnight with drinking and playing games. I love those guys~!
MARCH 11
Snowboarding~! I went to Yongpyong with my school friend for snowboarding. It was very fun, but difficult as well. I fell down so many times and my whole body was bruised and sore afterward.. Anyway, what a wonderful experience it was~
MARCH 2
A beginning of new semester~ The school starts! I'm taking 18 credits, which are Korean economy, International Economics, International Trade, Family and Gender in Korean Society, Modern Society and Psychology and Venture Foundation Theory
FEBRUARY 19
Middle School Reunion~! I met many middle school friends for the first time since we graduated in 1993. There were 성웅, 1グ? 소영, 희진, 태원, 재?, 승?? 효준, 동훈, 석영, 장은, ?1?and 이? at the meeting. We hung out at the bar and singing room in Mok-dong where we had lots of fun~! I hope our friendship lasts forever!! Go MMSS!! (Mok-dong Middle School Students)
FEBRUARY 4~5
Lunar's New Year~ I went to my uncle's house in Jechon "?천" to see the relatives.
JANUARY 26
I went to Lotte World with 웅 and other 2 girls. We had lots of fun~ I'll miss 웅 as he goes back to army tomorrow.
JANUARY 21~22
웅 had a break from the army and we went to Pusan. It was my first time going to Pusan in 11 years. We went to 32포동, 용두산, 태종대, ?면, 해운대, ?안리, 동래...etc. in Pusan. We had sushi for lunch and took a sports massage at night. He and I so much fun as it was very exciting. We took train on our way to Pusan then took plane on the way back.
JANUARY 15
I met HyeRan for the first time since she came back from China. I was very glad to see the old friend. We "3? 성웅, 동훈, 희진, ?1? ?뉜?#034; hung out in Shinchon all night.
JANUARY 11
SeungJoon left to U.S. I was at the airport with JinHo and KyungHee.
JANUARY 8
SeungJoon's sister's wedding. It was held at church in Goduk-dong in Seoul. Afterward, my friends and I went to Jongro for bowling and drinking. I had lots of fun.
JANUARY 3~4
I went to Kyungpodae "경포대" to see the winter sea. It was very nice & memorable.

I spent the millennium night at home with my family, then went to my friend SungWoong's church.

I went to Lotte World with my friend. It was fun~ especially I liked GyroDrop, which was fantastic~
NOVEMBER 5
My Birthday~! It was the first time in 7 years having a b-day in Korea. I had lots of fun at a pub "Double Double" in Shinchon with 15 of my friends. 영주, 종숙, 희진, 경희, 승준, 수1? 진호, 치호, 선희, 석영, 혁진, 진우, Joe, 윤주, 중대~ Thanks for coming to my b-party! I love you all~!
OCTOBER 30
I went to Namee Island with GMT (Global Management Track) members for MT. 20 people went to MT and we had lots of fun~!
OCTOBER 18
The midterm starts~ 5 exams are waiting for me.
OCTOBER 2
I saw hockey game on Friday, and soccer game on Saturday with GMT friends. Yonsei won the both event~! We moved to Shinchon afterward and had lots of fun throughout the night~! Gosh~ I love Korea!

SEPTEMBER 20
I start to tutor (과외) English conversation.

I went to Daesungri with IYC members (International Yonsei Community) for MT. About 50 people went on MT and we had lots of fun~!
SEPTEMBER 1
The internship at Daewoo is over and now I'm back to school. I'm taking 6 classes (4 taught in English, 2 taught in Korean) this semester at Yonsei. Watch me studying hard!..or playing hard?
AUGUST 14
The number of visitors of my homepage went over 3000 today! It's been about a year + 3 months since I made it.. thanks everyone for coming~!
JULY 1
I've had lots of fun in Korea for last 1 1/2 month. From now on, I'll work at Daewoo Corporation as a summer intern. I'm pretty excited for my first professional experience in business.
MAY 15
COME BACK HOME!! I arrived in Seoul, Korea. It's very exciting to live in Korea for a year. I was landed at the Kimpo Airport at 6:05 AM (KST).
