Laura
Stamm's Power Skating
Another well-written book on power skating. Similar in content to Audrey's. I prefer Audrey's book, as I find it easier to understand. This book tends to give almost too much detail. More intermediate coaches may prefer this book. Paperback - 244 pages 2nd Ed. edition (June 1990) |

Get
the Edge by Audrey Bakewell's Power Skating Technique
Drills in this book are used extensively by Audrey in her power skating classes. An excellent book that covers all the fundamentals of skating (forwards, backwards, stride, agility, cross overs, mohawk turns etc. etc.) with simple drills. Audrey also adds her own interesting personal anecdotes from her days as a power skating instructor with the Edmonton Oilers in the 1980's. Paperback - 125 pages (January 1997) |
