I have been collecting beer cans since 1977. I specialize in party cans, and have been focusing on four pint cans. The 94 or so in my collection are listed here. I like big cans in general, but I just don't have room for too many more in this little old apartment. I am actually interested in selling what I have to finance my sked habit.
I am interested in most items from Connecticut breweries, especially Old England. I am also interested in breweriana with a playing card theme, such as Dawson's with the King of Diamonds. I'm also interested in picking up older breweriana of almost any kind.
Here are a few other big cans I've hung onto. I'm potentially interested in other party cans, although my collecting focus is definitely on paper items these days. Let me know what you have available.
Brand | BCU | Grade | Comments |
---|---|---|---|
Kegle Brau | 163-2 | 4 | No top. Beaten. |
Regal | 163-10 | 4 | Top and top rim gone. Faded, dented, rusted, and generally grim. |
Meteor Biere | Belgian 5 liter can | ||
Algonquin Park 1893-1993 | Canadian five liter can | ||
Budweiser | 5 liter can from the Czech Republic. Budweiser has been brewed there since the 16th century, and the boys in St. Louis have to pay for the rights to the name. I have two variations of this can. | ||
Pelfourth | French four liter can | ||
Arnold | Two liter can from Germany. One of the smaller cans in my collection, but it's kinda different, so I keep it around. | ||
Kropf | 1+ | Very attractive German 5 liter can | |
Baltika | Five liter can from Russia. My wife, who is decidedly not a fan of beer cans in general and big ones in particular, thinks that this is a very attractive can. |
