An awful performance of Hapoel Haifa, which also suffered from a good day of the guests' keeper Irakliy Zoidze, was still enough to register a big victory over the hopeless Maccabee Yaffa. The score was opened after 21 minutes of play, when Giovanni Rosso's corner was continued by Goran Milenko to Najouan Grayib, who pushed it home from 2 meters. A great free kick of Ran Ben-Shimon, 14 minutes later, and a goal of Liron Basis early in the 2nd half, after a fabulous penetration of Grayib at the left wing, made the rest of the difference. Yaffa didn't create any decent opportunity near Haifa's net.

MACCABEE TEL-AVIV - Hapoel Tsafririm Holon 4:0 (0:0).

A brilliant 2nd half of Maccabee Tel-Aviv, breaking the usually reliable defence of Holon, enabled the Yellows to return to the 2nd place, with a better goal difference than Beitar Jerusalem's. Without the goals of Avi Nimni and Andrzej Kubica, those were Kefir Edri and Alexei Kosolapov to do the job. 6 minutes after the break, it was a solo penetration of Edri into the box - the youngster from Dimona passed Moti Fleeter, Rafi Fur and Nir Sokher, and finally managed to overplay Martin Pashko in one-to-one, after one failed trial. 2 minutes later, it was a flat shot of Kosolapov from 18 meters, which Pashko failed to deflect further than his left post, 2:0; 7 minutes later, Pashko didn't react to a flat killer of Kosolapov from 18 meters between the fence of legs, 3:0. There were no more goals until the 82nd minute, despite the one-way traffic, due to several magnificent saves of Pashko - however, during this minute he totally miscalculated the trajectory of Offir's wide high ball and parried it to the body of Kefir Edri who didn't even understand how he scored, 4:0. After a short failure in the derby, Maccabee recovered fully; Tsafririm suddenly finds itself in quite a trouble.

Herzliya, unbeaten in its last 7 games, was defeated the first time in the era of Shiya Feigenbaum as its coach - and it happened due to one of the most lethal openings Teddy remembered in the last years. 3 minutes from the start, it was Tamas Sandor with a header to the left post of Herzliya, and a minute later, his header was precise, after a high and precise ball of Ilan Bakhar. 17 minutes in a game, Nir Sevilla wasn't awarded a penalty kick after a foul of Yaacov Koretski; 5 minutes before the break, it was another post, this time of Offer Shitrit. 2 minutes before the break, Nir Sevilla released a surprising shot in a turn, and the ball hit the bar and got down to the right post of Gilardi. The 2nd half was much more equal, and Herzliya had even several opportunities of its own to score, but Itzhak Korenfein had no problems to cope with those.

A very strange game was held on Sunday, when the hosts were attacking time after time, and the guests were scoring all the goals. When Guy Itzhak (4), Rave Sharabi (5) and Idan Malihi (11) failed to beat Davidovich, a duet of Jerzy Brzeczek and Yossi Benayoun opened the score (14); 11 minutes later on, it was Brzeczek again, with a goal pass to Pacha. Again, those were the opportunities of Rajid Bransi (33, 58, 65), Rave Sharabi (50, 68), Guy Itzhak (54) and Ismail Amar (60), but all were missed or stopped by Davidovich; on the other hand, it was a foul of Morad Magamedov on Victor Pacha inside the box, but the great referee Eitan Tavrizi said it was Pacha's offside (44). In the middle of the 2nd half, a great solo penetration of Yossi Benayoun (70) and his pass to the substitute Ibrahim Doro (73) made the score 4:0.

Another loss of Beit-Shean, nearly certainly leaving the team out of the relegation struggles, from the wrong side. 6 minutes in the game, Dudu Dahan was red-carded for a foul inside the box on Moti Kakun, and the forward himself converted the penalty, 1:0. A solo penetration and a flat shot of Ilan Boaron (Meir Cohen in a better day would've reacted quicker) made the story quite clear. Eitan Taib still reduced the score with his own penalty kick, after a foul on Marius Cinka (42), but a free kick of the substitute Eli Abrabanel during the last minutes made Beit-Shean's hopes melt. The last minute goal of Jamil Hader was too little and too late.

A good game of Sagi Strauss, on one hand, and an awful game of the stars Idan Tal and Gabor Marton, on the other hand, left the 5,000 fans frustrated with a goalless draw, serving the hosts much more than the guests. The referee David Barak had mostly no problems to lead the game, but made a crucial mistake once, only booking the defender Nicholas Catalyn for a deliberate handplay denying Shalom Tikwa a one-to-one situation.

Hapoel Jerusalem, needing to stop the consequence of losses, made it after 11 minutes of play - Moti Menakhem managed to raise a great ball from the right wing, under the nose of a hesitant Adir Tobol, and the young talent Mahmoud Salman volleyed it home from 7 meters. Ashdod was attacking vigorously throughout the game and had two great opportunities to score, giving us a clear "Man Of The Game". A fantastic dive of Strauber parried to the corner a clever shot of Barukh Dego after the latter's great penetration (29), and the peak was registered in a stoppage time - it was a shot of Igal Zrihen from a close range, and an incredible acrobatic flight of Strauber to leave the victory of the Reds intact.

Another disappointing game of the outsiders Bnei-Yehuda, who take the lead and fail to finish with a victory. The score was opened after just 4 minutes of play, when Offer Levi found himself clear inside the box and shot past Yaniv Mizrahi, 1:0. The several opportunities of Bnei-Yehuda later on were mercilessly wasted or parried by Yaniv Mizrahi, and 23 minutes from time, Nissan Capeta equalized after another goal pass of Nenad Markicevic. Rishon stays unbeaten in its last 4 games, with 10 points out of 12.
