Note to all who are trading tapes with Dawn: Update: 11-14-03 Shipped: Noah S. | Close to being done: Amy Lynn F., Lori O., Susan C.I have obtained a DVD-burner and a video capture card, and will probably begin converting my old tapes to DVD format (MPEG2) pretty soon here. After that happens (it may take a little while x_x) I think I will put the "tape trades" page back online, except that I will no longer offer tapes, but DVDs.
Update: 6-3-03 Ah yes. Another year passes. I suck. But I haven't given up! Finished and shipped: Belinda, Aimee P., and Amy S.
I began researching DVD-burning software as well as video capture cards, and found that I could (with a little investment) "capture" all of my Paul tapes to DVD-format (MPEG2), then burn them onto DVDs that would play in most, if not all, DVD players! Now, this means I would have to sit there and record all of the Paul tapes, in real-time, onto my computer... a very time-consuming process. But I think I'm willing to do it.

Update: 2-6-02 Gaah! I feel like such a failure that this is taking so dang long. BUT I am just about ready to send another order. Belinda Pinkerton's is one show away from being DONE! Everyone cheer! :D I'm going to assume your address is the same... throw me an email if it isn't.You know, I am seriously considering getting one of these, copying my entire collection over to VCD, and just burning CDRs for people. That would be SUCH a timesaver. The CDs would play fullscreen on any PC, as well as on some brands of DVD players. Would anyone be interested? let me know.
Update: 5-31-01 Phew... one of the biggest ones is done! Aimee, your tapes are finally in the mail! Everyone else: Sorry.. I am never going to accept an offer to copy my entire collection EVER again. Do you realize how many tapes I had to copy?? *Theatre Girl drops dead* but anyway.. onward! Belinda, I'm 70-75% done with yours, and Amy Lynn's is close to being done too. Unfortunately one of my VCRs pooped out on me after Aimee's order, so I will be replacing it soon. I'm still plugging along..... thank you kindly!!Old News:
